Ragnar, Rollo face to face in battle in new Vikings Season 4 Trailer

On Monday we reported that the new season of Vikings will begin on SBS on February 24 and will air in two 10-episode parts during the year. We love the show’s stunning visuals and thrilling battle scenes, and thanks to the brand new Season 4 trailer, we get a bigger taste of what we can expect when the epic historical drama returns to Australian television screens next month.

The Northmen have returned to Paris, and they are flying the banners of King Ragnar Lothbrok. “For the sake of Paris, do not return to your brother,” the Emperor of France (Lothaire Bluteau) begs Rollo (Clive Standen), who remained in Paris at the end of Season 3.

You can watch the fierce Lothbrok brothers face to face in battle in the new trailer. Meanwhile it appears Ragnar, portrayed by Australia’s Travis Fimmel (Warcraft) may have recuperated from the serious illness that plagued him in season 3, as we see him fighting in battle, and with that familiar gleam of determination in his eyes.

Vikings, season four, is a 20-part series to be aired as two 10 episode parts on SBS in 2016. Part one begins Wednesday 24 February at 8.30pm and continues every Wednesday at 9.30pm.

In the US, season four kicks off on February 18 on The History Channel.

The second part of the series will conclude in later in 2016.
