Pet Sematary world premiere announced alongside a fresh lineup of Aussie talent added to SXSW Film Festival 2019

Every March, the SXSW Film Festival takes place in Austin, Texas – and it’s home to some of the biggest and most exciting world premieres alongside the freshest up-and-coming features and shirts.

From March 8–17, the 2019 event will be celebrating a lineup of 131 Feature Films, 101 Short Films (including Music Videos), 5 Episodic Premieres, 12 Episodic Pilots, 25 Virtual Cinema Projects, and 30 Title Design entries. And this week, there’s been a pile of new additions to the lineup.

A major highlight of the additions includes the World Premiere of the chilling remake of Stephen King’s novel Pet Sematary, where the original storyline is back with new actors and some fresh twists — and among the actors in this film, we have an aussie face (Jason Clarke) playing the main lead! More Aussie talents in the lineup also include Little Monsters, an Australian horror/comedy film which features a cast of aussie actors (Stephen Peacocke, Nadia Townsend, Kat Stewart, Henry Nixon, Jason Chong, Felix Williamson and Rahel Romahn); Them That Follow, an American thriller starring Aussie actress Alice EnglertSnare, a short drama/comedy film which features two Aussie actors (Steve Rodgers and James Fraser).
