Earlier this year we reported on rumours that Walker Stalker Con could be heading to Australia. Now it seems that rumours have turned into reality, following the announcement that the immensely popular event would indeed be making its way down under, bringing The Walking Dead stars both past and present down under for what has become the largest zombie, horror and sci-fi convention.

Starting back in 2013, when AMC’s smash hit wasn’t even near that level of feverish demand it enjoys today, Walker Stalker Con has grown into a highly sought after homage to the network phenomenon, its legions of fans, and the actors who help bring it to life. And those actors making it down under? Well that’d be Katelyn Nacon (who plays Enid), the endlessly talented Ross Marquand (who plays Aaron), Alanna Masterson (who plays Tara), Michael Cudlitz (who plays Abraham), and…wait for it… none other than Norman Reedus (yep, Daryl).

These are the actors who have so far been confirmed for Walker Stalker Con Australia in both Sydney and Melbourne, appearing to meet fans, pose for photos, sign autographs and, of course, participate in stage interviews. And this is only the beginning of the announcement; Walker Stalker Con have informed fans to stay tuned for news of more TWD actors and personalities set to join the line-up as we look ahead to the two Aussie events.

Walker Stalker Con will hit Sydney first, held across two days on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th February in The Dome at Sydney Showgrounds. The following weekend will see Walker Stalker Con take place in Melbourne’s The Pavilion, across Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th February. All dates are open to all-ages and tickets start from $79.90 (several tiers of VIP packages are also available).

Note that tickets will go on sale from August 10th (2pm AEST). For more information on Sydney click HERE and for more information on Melbourne click HERE.
