Ramsay, Cersei, and Daenerys feature in the very first footage released from Season 6 of Game of Thrones. HBO have released their yearly trailer showcasing what’s in store for the channel next year, and while our look at GoT is very, very brief, we do get to see at least some of the focus of next season as well as one very eye-catching hint at Jon Snow’s fate.
Though most of the footage used in the 2015 wrap up portion of the video is of older scenes from previous seasons of Game of Thrones, we get some quick action from next year – Dany looking confused, Cersei showing off her matching haircut with Tomen, and Ramsay leading an army. Though possibly the most telling part is towards the beginning of the trailer, which cheekily nabs footage of Jon Snow being told by Melisandre that there is power in him.
This may mean nothing, but it certainly adds fuel to those rumours that everyone’s favourite Lord of Light enthusiast will be using her “powers” to somehow resurrect Ned Stark’s bastard, a la, Thoros of Myr resurrecting Beric Dondarrion.
