Moonlight Cinemas, Australia’s biggest outdoor cinema event, returns for 20th season

Moonlight Cinema returns this summer with a collection of old classics, new releases and cult favourites to cities all across Australia. The screenings are set in some of the countries’ largest outdoor cinemas and like previous years, the event offers food truck style foods and a Gold Grass packages for those who really want to up-scale their experience.

Returning this year is Doggie Nights, the screening where viewers can bring their beloved pups along for the show and everyone’s favourites; cult classic nights and special themed screenings  will also be making a comeback.

Dates:

Adelaide, Dec 3 – Feb 14 on the lawns of Botanic Park
Brisbane, Dec 16 – Mar 6 on the lawns of New Farm Park at Brisbane Powerhouse
Melbourne, Dec 3 – Mar 27 on the Central Lawn at the Royal Botanic Gardens
Perth, Dec 5 – Mar 27 at Kings Park and Botanic Garden and Sydney, Dec 3 – Mar 27 on the lawns of Belvedere Amphitheatre in Centennial Park.

Additionally, Moonlight Cinema Port Douglas in North Queensland is currently playing at designer resort QT until October 4, 2015.
