Matthew McConaughey races to save mankind in new Interstellar trailer

Christopher Nolan’s first non-Batman film since the critically and commercially acclaimed Inception hits cinemas in one month. Just let that sink in. We will be watching a new original Christopher Nolan film in a matter of weeks. That film is Interstellar, and it is shaping up to be something pretty spectacular. Plot details are incredibly scarce at the moment as Nolan is incredibly secretive about his films before they are released. The film stars Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway and involves interstellar space travel. Warner Bros. have released the final trailer for the film and if you weren’t already convinced, this trailer suggests that Interstellar could very well be the film event of the year.

Here’s the intriguing and secretive synopsis for Interstellar:

With our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history: traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars.

From acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan (“The Dark Knight” films, “Inception”), “Interstellar” stars Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey (“Dallas Buyers Club”), Oscar winner Anne Hathaway (“Les Miserables”), Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain (“Zero Dark Thirty”), Bill Irwin (“Rachel Getting Married”), Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn (“Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore”), and Oscar winner Michael Caine (“The Cider House Rules”).
