To celebrate the release of 20th Century Fox’s upcoming young adult adaptation The Maze Runner, Luna Park Sydney has teamed with Fox to launch The Maze Runner Adventure – Live! at the park from September 18th. The attraction will be a massive maze within Luna Park, and will take guests ‘on a walk-through, hands-on adventure, involving innovative special effects and immersive performance, bringing to life the vision and adrenalin-pumping action seen in the film’. Audiences will also have the chance to complete their own quest within the maze.

Here’s the synopsis for the film:

When Thomas wakes up, trapped in a massive maze with a group of boys, he has no memory of the outside world. Only by piecing together fragments of his past with clues he discovers in the maze, can Thomas hope to uncover his true purpose and a way to escape.

The film has an incredibly intriguing concept, and it’s exciting to see that Luna Park and Fox are giving audiences the chance to experience the maze for themselves. It’s the kind of awesome interactive movie tie-in that we don’t see often. If you get the chance to head to Luna Park Sydney to experience The Maze Runner Adventure – Live! don’t pass it up!
