Hot off her role as the Machiavellian President Coin in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Julianne Moore is talks to play the villain in the follow-up to 2015’s British spy adventure Kingsmen : The Secret Service.
The news came out of The Hollywood Reporter earlier in the week with Borys Kit saying that “Details for Moore’s character were not revealed but it is understood that she will be the piece’s bad guy, if a deal is made”.
Director Matthew Vaughn and lead Taron Egerton are set to return to the spy thriller when it commences production later in the year.
Kingsmen 2 is expected to release in 2017.
