Huge World of Warcraft: Legion art piece pops up in Melbourne

To celebrate the launch of World of Warcraft: Legion, Melbourne artists have created a massive mural of series mainstays Illidan and Gul’dan locked in an epic battle.

The huge, hand-painted piece took over six painters, 300 hours to complete, 10 litres of paint, 75 separate colours, and 20 cans of neon tint to complete. If you’re in Melbourne and would like to check the piece out for yourself, World of Warcraft fans can find it on the corner of La Trobe and Swanson Streets.

Legion is the latest expansion pack for the hugely popular, World of Warcraft MMO. Players will be tasked to defeat the legendary Legion, whose destructive crusade will eventually swallow Azeroth whole. The expansion pack includes a new Demon Hunter hero class, features, continents, and the long-awaited boosting of the level cap to 100.
