Eponine Films have partnered with HOYTS Group to release Love Is Now nationally on the 4th December 2014, a debut Australian film written and directed by Jim Lounsbury, producing partner Behren Schulz and Line Producer David Lightfoot (Wolf Creek, Rouge).

Starring Eamon Farren (Chained, Red Dog, Carlotta), Claire Van Der Boom (The Square, Red Hill, ‘Hawaii Five-O’), and Anna Torv (‘The Secret Life Of Us’, ‘Fringe’), the film chronicles a summer of love for Audrey (Van Der Boom) and Dean (Farren) as they embark on a country adventure following the NSW Harvest Trail. It is a home-grown story of discovery, drama and love, set to a soundtrack by Kram (Spiderbait).

The film also hosts Australian talent in supporting roles including Dustin Clare (‘Spartacus’, ‘McLeod’s Daughters’), Heather Mitchell (Muriel’s Wedding, The Great Gatsby), Chris Haywood (Shine, Jindabyne), Rhys Muldoon (‘House Husbands’, ‘Rake’) and 2013 Tropfest winner Matt Hardie, as well as Polish actor Lech Mackiewicz (The Pianist, ‘Marking Time’).

HOYTS has collaborated innovatively with Eponine Films to create a model for Love Is Now, so that audiences will get an opportunity to support Australian cinema during December.
