George Miller & David Stratton to appear in conversation at Chauvel Cinema as part of the French Film Festival

Palace Cinemas will be hosting Academy Award-winning director George Miller and David Stratton in conversation on Wednesday 9 March at the Chauvel Cinema from 6:15pm as part of the French Film Festival.

Just coming back from the Oscars, Miller is also president for this year’s Cannes International Film Festival and joining him will be film critic David Stratton. The pair will discuss French and Australian cinema as well as their merits in the film industry.

The French Film Festival, which runs annually in Australia, has become the most popular film event in the country and it comes to no surprise with its diverse range of films. France screens an equivalent number of American films to French films and it’s interesting to see what the French bring to the film market. Ranging from comedies to thrillers to psychological dramas, France have put together films which can be enjoyed by anyone.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased from the Palace Cinema Chauvel or Palace Norton Street box office or by visiting the Palace Cinemas website: https://www.palacecinemas.com.au/sessiontimes/session/170/41631/
