Gamescom 2016: New characters and story details have been revealed for Tekken 7

Fan favourite Lee Chaolan, and his alter ego, Violet, will be returning for the latest King of the Iron Fist Tournament, it was revealed at Gamescom.  Lees appearance in Tekken 7 plays into the storyline of the game through his adoption by Heihachi Mishima, who was raised to be a rival to his son Kazuya.

In some new screenshots, a very young Kazuya is seen training with his father. Currently, there is not much more information regarding his appearance,  though more details will be revealed within the story of the game.

Tekken 7’s story mode will consist of several hours of gameplay, which includes side stories that players can unlock during their experience.  The story mode is not limited to players only controlling the Mishima family, but will also involve other fighters outside of the Mishima clan, such as Claudio Serafino, and his group of exorcists. This aspect of the narrative will play an important part of the overall story of Tekken 7.

Tekken 7 will be available on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One in early 2017.
