Five popular Aussie dramas set to return on ABC!

Lovers of Australian television drama will be rewarded as ABC TV have announced that popular series Janet King, Rake, Jack Irish, The Code and The Doctor Blake Mysteries will be returning to our small screens.

Marta Dusseldorp will be undertaking a role in the second series of Janet King; in the fourth series of Rake, Richard Roxburge will be returning to the role of Cleaver Greene; and Guy Pearce will partake in the new six-part series based on Peter Temple’s top-selling crime book series, Jack Irish: The Series.

Reprising his role in the fourth outing of The Doctor Blake Mysteries, Craig McLachlan will be playing the charming Dr Lucien Blake; also Dan Spielman and Ashley Zuckerman are set to return in thriller series, The Code.

ABC Head of Fiction, Carole Sklan states: “ABC TV is very happy to be able to bring back this collection of hugely entertaining, favourite dramas. They feature such a wonderful, eclectic mix of indelible characters.”
