First trailer for live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) reboot.

TMNT-bay

Just a few years after the animated TMNT (2007), we are getting a live-action reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. Based on the comic book series that began in the 80s, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles looks like it has a pretty good chance of reigniting the popularity of the franchise. With Michael Bay on board as producer, the film will likely make a decent dent in the box office, mostly from young audiences.

Here’s the official plot synopsis: The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April (Megan Fox) and her wise-cracking cameraman Vernon Fenwick (Will Arnett) to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.

Take a look at the trailer here and decide whether you’re keen to see a Bay-led reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles does not currently have a scheduled Australian release date, but stay tuned!
