Cotillard and Pitt’s World War II thriller Allied gets a new trailer

Paramount Pictures has released the first full length trailer for their upcoming World War II film Allied. The thriller stars Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard as undercover operatives who meet each other on the North African front during a deadly mission behind enemy lines. To cut a long story short, many explosions and gunfights ensue.

Murdering Nazi’s seems like a romantic getaway because the two eventually fall in love and move to London. But, in a crazy twist, Pitt’s superior officers believe that his new bride may be a Nazi spy!

You can check out the trailer below.

The trailer begins in such a way that makes it seem like a generic romance film set in a brutal time in our history; it’s pretty corny. But, once the trailer reveals its true intentions, the film seems a bit more interesting. Though, some of the moments in the trailer that are present to instill tension or suspicion, such as the final line, tend to fall flat. Still, we’re looking forward to this one.

Allied is set to release in Australia on Boxing Day, 26th December 2016.
