Cary Elwes added to Sydney’s Oz Comic-Con and Stranger Things Season 3

Stranger Things left off last season with the gang saving the day yet again, but will all that come crashing down in season 3? Not much news on that front, however we do know who will be making an appearance! Cary Elwes, known for starring in Mel Brook’s Robin Hood: Men in Tights, his role in the SAW franchise as “Dr Lawrence Gordon”, and of course as the lead in The Princess Bride, was confirmed earlier this year for a role in season 3 of Netflix’s hugely popular series Stranger Things.

But before that happens, he’s coming to Australia! He’ll also be joining a string of late additions for the Oz Comic-Con convention in Sydney, which includes actress and musician Aly Michalka (iZombie, Hellcats, Easy A) and Australian actor Nikolai Nikolaeff (Daredevil, The OA, Power Rangers: Jungle Fury).

They join a stellar line-up for the Oz Comic-Con convention in Sydney, which includes:

Phoebe Tonkin – best known for her role as “Hayley Marshall” from The CW‘s The Vampire Diaries and The Originals
Matthew Daddario – best known for his role as “Alec Lightwood” from Freeform‘s Shadowhunters
Dominic Sherwood – best known for his role as “Jace Wayland” from Freeform‘s Shadowhunters
Gates McFadden – best known for her roles as “Dr. Beverly Crusher” from Star Trek: The Next Genenation
Dichen Lachman – best known for her role as “Reileen Kawahara” from Netflix‘s Altered Carbon
Christy Carlson Romano – best known from her voice-acting role as “Kim Possible” from Disney‘s Kim Possible
Nathaniel Buzolic – best known from his role as “Enzo” from The CW‘s The Vampire Diaries and The Originals
Dominic Keating – best known from his role as “Lieutenant Michael Reed” from Star Trek: Enterprise
Clare Kramer – best known from her role as “Glory” from Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Scott Ian – Anthrax guitarist and thrash metal legend who also appeared in AMC‘s The Walking Dead

All guests will participate in panels across the weekend, as well as photograph and autograph sessions with fans.

Oz Comic-Con Sydney will take place at the International Convention Centre Sydney on September 29th and 30th. For tickets and more details head to ozcomiccon.com/tickets.
