Cara Delevigne to star in Amazon Original Series Carnival Row

Amazon Prime Video have recently announced that actress Cara Delevigne (Suicide Squad) is set to star in Carnival Row, a one-hour fantasy noir Amazon original project.

The eight-episode series will be produced by Legendary Television and be written and executive produced by showrunner Rene Echevarria (Star Trek, Teen Wolf, Castle, Medium). Travis Beacham (Pacific rim, Clash of the Titans) will join as executive producer and also wrote the feature script, A Killing on Carnival Row, on which the project is based upon. Paul McGuigan (Victor Frankenstein, Luke Cage, Sherlock) is also set to executive produce as well as direct. The series is scheduled to begin filming this fall and is set for a 2019 release.

Carnival Row is a fantasy- noir set in a neo-Victorian city. Mythical creatures have gathered here as a result of fleeing their war torn homeland. Tensions between citizens and the growing immigrant population are reaching boiling point, as we follow the investigation of a string of unsolved murders that are tearing down any of the peace that still exists within the city.

Carnival Row will be available on Amazon Prime Video upon release, which is set to be sometime in 2019.
