Continuing an amazing run of celebrity visits over the last couple of months, the stars of Bridget Jones’s Baby are coming to Australia. Bridget Jones herself, Academy Award winner Renee Zellweger and McDreamy (Grey’s Anatomy) himself, Patrick Dempsey – who joins the franchise for the first time – will both be in Australia to promote the film later this month.
In the latest chapter of the popular series, Bridget Jones finds herself fortysomething and single again after her “happily ever after” with Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) didn’t quite go according to plan.
Her love life takes a turn and Bridget meets a dashing American named Jack (Dempsey), the suitor who is everything Mr. Darcy is not. In an unlikely twist she finds herself pregnant, but with one hitch…who is the father! In classic “Bridget’ style, the film follows her crazy adventures as she prepares for motherhood while juggling, life, love and just being Bridget.
Renee and Patrick will be in Sydney on Monday August 22nd. The film itself will be released in Australia on September 15th.
