Big screen adaptation of Tim Winton’s Breath gets a new trailer and teaser poster

Roadshow Films has recently debuted both a new trailer and teaser poster for its upcoming Australian coming-of-age drama, Breath.

Breath is based on Tim Winton’s award-winning novel of the same name, and is also Simon Baker’s (The Mentallist) feature film directorial debut.

Breath follows two teenage boys, Pikelet (Samson Coulter) and Loonie (Ben Spence), as they grow up in a remote corner of the Western Australian Coast. As they form an unlikely relationship with Sando (Simon Baker), a mysterious and older surfer and adventurer, their curiosity and thirst for discovery will lead the two boys down a dangerous and profoundly life changing string of events.

Breath stars Simon Baker, Elizabeth Debicki (Guardians of the Galaxy 2), newcomers Samson Coulter and Ben Spence, Rachael Blake (Sleeping Beauty), Jacek Koman (Moulin Rogue) and Richard Roxburgh (Rake)while being produced by Mark Johnson, Simon Baker and Jamie Hilton

Breath was shot on location in Western Australia with investment support from Screen Australia, Great Southern Development Commission, Screenwest and Lotterywest, also in association with Autumn Productions and Deluxe Australia.

Breath releases in Australian cinemas sometime in 2018.
