He’s back! Terminator superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger is heading down under with Australian star Jai Courtney (Insurgent, Divergent) to promote the new film in the much-loved franchise, Terminator Genisys.
Schwarzenegger and Courtney will appear at the film’s premiere at the Event Cinemas George Street, and will walk the red carpet from 5:30pm on Thursday, 4 June.
Terminator Genisys will see Courtney play Sgt. Kyle Reese, a man who sent back in time by John Connor (Jason Clarke) to save Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke), but ends up creating an alternate timeline, where he meets The Guardian (Schwarzenegger). Genisys also stars J.K. Simmons, Matt Smith, and Courtney B. Vance.
Terminator Genisys is the fifth film in the Terminator franchise and will be released in Australia on Thursday, 1 July 2015 through Paramount Pictures Australia.
