ABC’s Bushwhacked! back for a third season

bushwhacked

Kamil Ellis and Kayne Tremills are back for more adventure with ABC show Bushwhacked! returning for a third season.

Ellis, a young Wiradjuri man, and Tremills, the former host of Studio 3, set challenges for each other in the remote Australian outback. From wading through crocodile-infested waters, to kangaroo spotting, to coming into contact with all manner of venomous creatures, Bushwhacked! shines a light on endangered species and environmental issues currently facing Australia. The boys travel with scientists, wildlife experts and environmentalists on specific projects, and also meet with members of indigenous cultures, and learn rites and rituals that have been passed down from generation to generation.

Ellis and Tremills also shine a light on many lesser-known destinations and travel to remote corners of the country, such as a remote outstation in the Western Desert and a visit to the Top End of Australia.

Bushwhacked! season three commences Monday 4 May at 5:25pm on ABC3.
