Virgin Australia launches “Velocity Live” initiative for frequent flyers with Keith Urban Competition

This week, Virgin Australia’s loyalty program Velocity announced the launch of yet another initiative to reward their members: Velocity Live. Velocity Live will add offers to live experiences through exclusive event offers and pre-sale tickets. Who can say no to premium seating allocations? And to help kick things off, they’ve enlisted the help of Velocity Platinum card holder Keith Urban.

CEO of Velocity Frequent Flyer, Karl Schuster, said that their program is dedicated to ensuring that members get to unlock memorable experiences. “Velocity Frequent Flyer is all about making our members’ dreams come true and what better way to do that than combine travel with some of life’s other greatest passions, such as music, sport and theatre,” Schuster says.

Velocity Live comes about thanks to a new partnership with TEG Live, which will provide Velocity’s some six million members with tailored offers. To celebrate the launch of this program, members can get their hands on premium tickets to Keith Urban’s ripCORD tour in December when he stops by Australia, as well as tickets to Kinky Boots in Melbourne and PAW Patrol Live.

The ripCORD concert is already sold out, but 17 Velocity members stand a chance to not only win tickets, but an inclusive ‘Once in a Lifetime’ package. Members can also look forward to the upcoming Brickman LEGO exhibitions and Race to the Rescue.
