Sydney is getting a burger pop up paying tribute to In-N-Out

The masterminds behind nomadic burger purveyors, Hashtag Burgers, are teaming up with a former Head Chef for the renowned Mr Crackles and the busy Murray’s Craft Brewing Co to bring a unique burger pop-up to Sydney’s CBD, dedicated to famous U.S chain In-N-Out. The pop up, which has been titled Down-N-Out will be full of Hashtag Burgers’ playful Tribute Burgers, featuring a full menu, shakes, and even a secret menu.

After success bringing the Down-N-Out burger to The Lord Gladstone earlier this year, Hashtag have redecorated the interior of the Sir John Young Hotel on George Street and will occupy the space for almost one month of Down-N-Out goodness from Wednesday 8th to Tuesday 21st June.

With a soundtrack of their signature blend of soul, funk, and hip-hop, the Hashtag Burgers pop-up will be operating daily between the aforementioned date, offering a range of craft beers from Murray’s (including the great Angry Man Pale Ale) alongside all those juicy burgers.

The Down-N-Out at The Lord Gladstone came with Animal Style Fries smothered in liquid cheese and grilled onions, so if that’s any indication then we can expect some pretty tasty things when this all kicks off next week. The team are promising plenty of surprises in store so keep up to date with any developments over at the official Facebook event HERE.
