Renowned cafe ‘bills’ has introduced a new summer food and cocktail menu (Sydney)

Both of Sydney’s bills cafes have long stood as two of the most popular casual dining destinations in their respective areas – Bondi and Surry Hills – and so any change is bound to turn some heads. That recent change has come with a new summer dinner menu that rethinks both the food and drink on offer at both establishments from 5pm, sticking to the seasonal, local aesthetic that mirrors renowned chef and owner Bill Granger and his approach to food.

With a variety of small plates, large plates, and everything in between, Granger has successfully put forth another stunning menu which includes such delicious sounding fare as creamed goats cheese with tomatoes, nettle, and olive oil, sticky chilli pork belly with cucumber, spring onion, and peanut salad, a wagyu burger with grilled swiss, club sauce, impatient pickles, iceberg, ranch, and fries, and brown sugar pavlova with strawberries and rosewater yoghurt.

The cocktail list reads like a very summer-appropriate blend of spritzes and mojitos, with drinks like the negroni spritz with campari, dolin rosso vermouth, Vodka, and prosecco, and bills spiced bloody mary with Belvedere Vodka, clamato, Koean chilli, lime, and coriander.

Dinner is served from 5pm, and both venues take bookings. For more details head to http://www.bills.com.au/
