Pup Yeah! QT Hotels are going all out with a new dog-friendly concept

Let’s face it, as much as you need a staycation, your desire to get out and about once more has nothing on what your best fur friend has been going through this year. Dogs need pampering too, which is why QT Hotels & Resorts across Australia and New Zealand have introduced a new concept called “Pup Yeah!”

And the idea is simple: make sure your dog is as well taken care of as you during a QT stay. We aren’t talking a simple doggy bed splayed out on the floor with a few treats. We’re talking an in-room doggy dinner menu even humans would be jealous of, featuring the likes of Steak Tartare with mushrooms and egg yolk, Livers + Toast with pork neck and chicken gravy, and an Ice Cream Sandwich with bacon ice cream and dried liver on an oat biscuit.

Even dogs on a diet are being well taken care of, shifting over to a plant-based menu with Sweet Potato Meatballs, Pupcakes & Watermelon, and a Vegetable Terrine. Although that particular vegan-friendly pup menu is only available at QT Bondi and QT Wellington.

Food isn’t all your pup has too drool over. Comfort and convenience have also been sharpened, with each “Pup Yeah!” booking coming with a pooch-approved mini bar featuring snacks by Woof Gateaux and designer bedding with sleep sets by Nice Digs.

For Kiwis heading to one of QT’s NZ hotels, expect a few extras in that mini-bar, from bowties to bandanas by Wolves of Wellington and a nightly turn-down service by Wellington-based dog bakery Smack Bang.

If your BFF wants to accompany you to SpaQ, they’ve got their own treatment menu waiting for them. Select QT properties have worked with local groomers for a special PupQ treatment, where the lucky pooch can live their best life with pawdicures, mud marks and blow dries.

Pup Yeah! Rooms start from $450 and are inclusive of bedding, water bowl, and a dish from the in-room dog dining menu.
