Popular Growers Market (finally) returns to Pyrmont Bay Park (Sydney)

The well-loved Pyrmont Growers Market has relaunched in its original location at Pyrmont Bay Park. Held on the fourth Saturday of every month, the market is back bigger and better with outstanding local produce across the stalls. Established for 18 years but taking a 10-month hiatus last year, the market has returned as a result of the encouragement of locals and business owners.

Market Manager Mick Roche has joined forces with food consultant Tawnya Bahr to showcase new and familiar faces at the monthly market. With a strong focus on organic, sustainable and artisan products, it’s aiming to bring the local community and producers together.

Unrivalled views across Pyrmont Bay are met with farm fresh produce in the heart of the city. Market heavyweights like Pepe Saya, Brooklyn Boy Bagels, ALTO Olives, Pino’s Dolce Vita, and Parkers Organic Juices are on offer. Explore unique products like achacha and handmade goods like chocolate or preserves.

Whether it’s incredible vegetables from the Grima’s Farm Fresh Produce stand, free range eggs from Long Paddock Eggs or flavoursome bikkies by Badass Biscuit Co, the market supports local producers and farmers

The market will grow to approximately 85 stalls by April with notable additions like Ferment It, One Penny Red, Conjurup Food and Burrawong Gaian Poultry.

The Pyrmont Ultimo Chamber of Commerce with the support of The Star are proud to reinstate the popular Pyrmont Growers Market as a gathering place for the community, businesses and families.

The next Pyrmont Growers Market will run on Saturday, 25 March 2017.
