Peter Kuruvita hooks up with Novotel Manly for one-off sustainable seafood feast (Sydney)

Celebrity Chef Peter Kuruvita has linked up with beachside property Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific to offer guests a special seafood feast this month. The event, dubbed Seafood from the Heart, will feature five courses of dishes making use of a range of fresh seafood including wild scallop sashimi, salmon pearls, local tuna, BBQ southern calamari, and blue eye trevalla.

After the hotel partnered with Kuruvita on a sell-out event earlier this year, showcasing the tastes of Sri Lanka, they have invited the popular chef back for his long-time advocacy of sustainable seafood. On the night, he’ll be sharing his message about the need to protect the oceans for the future.

“Sustainability is a word on the lips of every Australian chef and producer these days, with our oceans reaching dangerous levels of overfishing”, explained Kuruvita. “If we are not careful in the way we choose our seafood, there won’t be any left of future generations”.

The dinner, which kicks off at 6:30pm on Friday 27th October, will be priced at $150 per person and include a glass of bubbles on arrival in addition to the five-course feast.
