One6Eight hooks up with Rocks Brewing Co. for a beer-centric Sunday long lunch in Balmain (Sydney)

One6Eight, constantly referred to as one of the best things to happen to Balmain’s dining scene in years, has teamed up with the talented team at Rocks Brewing Co. to stage a leisurely Beergustation long lunch on Sunday 10th April.

The innovative and relatively new restaurant on Balmain’s main strip will be offering three-courses cooked with and matched with five of the best brew from Rocks Brewing Co, including canapés on arrival and that impeccable service One6Eight is fast becoming known for.

Those heading along can expect Popcorn cooked in aged-beef with pork scratchings and parmesan Kolsch on arrival, followed by Suckling Pig with seared scallop and burnt apple, paired up with either a Golden Ale or Bacon Beer. The main will be a Hop Smoked Wagyu Flap with White IPA gel, paired up with the breweries popular White Indian Pale Ale. Dessert will then play on recent brew Blueberry Wheat Beer (which we take a look at HERE) with a Blueberry Wheat Beer Mille Feuille.

Tickets to the lunch are $90pp and can be purchased either by calling 9555 8750 or emailing [email protected]
