Newtown Good Food Fair to bring the party to the streets this October (Sydney)

Around 30 stallholders will soon come together to celebrate Newtown’s unique, cultural and eclectic offering of drinks, food and the pub scene.

The event returns for its fourth year to showcase the areas community spirit and party vibe. On Sunday the 8th of October guest can expect to relish in the likes of Bloodwood, Bovine & Swine, Mary’s and Queen Chow. These culinary treats will be joined by the Young Henry’s, the Courthouse Hotel and Newtown Hotel and many, many more. Communal tables and live entertainment will adorn Newtown Square and Eliza Street with Beverage Stalls popping up only in Elza Street.

Liz Dickson, Newtown Precinct Business Association Vice-President says, “Newtown is a melting pot of top notch restaurants, bars and pubs. This is the best way we can come together as a community, welcoming everyone – locals, families, Sydneysiders and tourists – to celebrate the vibrant and unique Newtown scene.” Kids and family activities will be present in both sites across Newtown with fundraising also to happen to support the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre.
