New Form is Enmore’s new curated design and arts market (Sydney)

Sydney’s fashion markets will never look the same after New Form, a new type of design-driven market that promises a sharp focus on curation, bringing in the best of local arts and crafts for a dynamic atmosphere. With a push to make this a quarterly event, New Form will be making its Sydney debut on Sunday 8th October in Enmore, shaped into the inner-west hub with the latest fashion from local designers and Australia ecommerce brands alongside music, food, drink, visual installations and art exhibitions.

Each edition of New Form will bring on a completely different curator, ensuring that the event evolves throughout its life-cycle while maintaining a strong dedication to all-local line ups. The first edition will be calling on the collections of boutique fashion labels like Serpent and the Swan and The One Label as well as vintage wardrobe staples from the likes of Tuesday Vintage and RENCE, who are best known for their upcycled fashion, taking pre-loved garments and giving them new life with hand-painted art.

Additional stalls will come from Studio Coy, bringing colourful handcrafted jewellery; Zuku Jewellery, promising avant-garde wearables; Casea the Label and Carley Rose the Label, two labels showcased in collaboration with The Design Residency; Gretel Corrie, showcasing her handmade ceramics inspired by nature and the female form; Online Zine Org, the Sydney-based artists collective full of illustrators, photographers and record collectors; and Astrophe Magazine, coming on board to showcase an exclusive exhibition of their photography prints.

Special New Form tote bags will be sold on the day with all profits going to the Black Dog Institute, providing research and aid to those affected by mental health issues.

Food on the day will be provided by Turkish Gozleme and Miss Mabel’s food truck, while Enmore institution Black Market Roasters also get involved with a stall offering the market’s first 50 customers a free coffee.
