Melbourne Central is planning a two day….Unicorn Festival

Surprisingly Melbourne has never had a Unicorn Festival before. What’s even more surprising is that unicorn doesn’t mean a multi-coloured mythical horse-like creature with a sharp horn anymore; it means sugary, ‘gram-worthy desserts like donuts, scrolls and ice creams. That’s what’s in store for Melbourne locals and visitors at the city’s first ever Unicorn Festival, held over two days in August at Melbourne Central.

The centre’s level-two footbridge will be transformed into a wondrous world of unicorn themed offerings to help bring some colour to dreary Melbourne winter. This inexplicably means unicorn inspired makeovers using products from Melbourne Central retailers (including Mecca Maxima, Sephora, and 3INA), an on-brand DJ, and most importantly plenty of food vendors including Bistro Morgan, Vickie Lu, Cupcake Central, Chili Bro, Doughboy Donuts (serving limited edition unicorn donuts), Oregano (complete with fairy floss scrolls), Ray Ray (with unicorn ice creams) and more.

The festival will run from 5pm to 9pm on both Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th August. Bring your squad and get lit. Yaaaas?
