Mary’s CBD has introduced a full breakfast menu (Sydney)

The burger gods at Mary’s have decided that their CBD joint (the one right near Pitt St Mall) needs a bit of a makeover, so along with a new fit-out the team have introduced a full breakfast menu, primarily aimed at the many, many sad and regretful hungover individuals that stalk Sydney’s street on the daily. Also office workers, but mainly hungover people.

Newcoming Newtown locals Loggerhead Coffee Co have also come on board to help complete the breakfast menu, which features a bunch of sweet and savoury options like breakfast muffins, hotcakes and crumpets served up from 6:30am to 10am Mon-Fri. Loggerhead will make sure coffee stays on the menu until 2pm though, debuting their espresso based coffee, filter and bottled cold brews from the store for any necessary pick-me-ups.

“Launching the Loggerhead brand with like minded people in a busy city location is a no brainer for us”, said founder Tobin Ventham. “Working alongside friends who we admire both personally and in business is just an added bonus. The concept of Loggerhead coffee co. is delicious caffeinated beverages to fuel creativity and fun..quality, uncomplicated and approachable”.

Breakfast lovers can expect a special Mary’s Brekkie Burger on the menu, going for $13 with sausage, bacon, cheese, hash brown, HP and maple. There are also four different breakfast muffins for $10 each (think trashcan bacon, egg, cheese; mushroom, egg, cheese; and mortadella, egg, cheese), hotcakes with smoked golden syrup and whipped butter ($10), porridge with seasonal fruit, Mary’s crumpets, and Jamaican ginger cake served with whipped butter ($4).

Mary’s breakfast is available from next week so head along, check out the new shrine of the late great Lemmy Kilmister, sit on the new custom built benches, and slap the absolute shit out of your hangover with these no doubt delicious as fuck (AF for the cool kids) creations.
