Luxe pop-up igloo bars have taken over Walsh Bay (Sydney)

With the middle of winter upon us Sydneysiders are able to strut their stuff on pop-up skating rinks and happen upon mulled wine served up in the city’s best bars. This latest winter-exclusive really takes things to the next level though. The ever-creative minds over at Pier One Sydney Harbour have hooked up with G.H Mumm Champagne and St Hugo Wines to host a bunch of luxe pop-up igloo bars that you are most definitely going to want to drink in.

Taking the name Domes on the Pier this series of cosy and stylish dome bars have sprung up near the designer hotel, overlooking Sydney Harbour in the enviable location of Walsh Bay. All you’ve got to do is simply climb in, post up by the private fire place and sip some quality wines while tucking into toasties, hot pies, soup and more.

The domes are available for private hire and function from now until mid-September*. To make a booking get in touch with Pier One HERE.

*UPDATE: The domes have proven so popular that availability has now been extended from mid-August to mid-September.
