Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove hooks up with Taylors Wines for “One Wine Weekend” (Gold Coast)

This July, the Gold Coast’s stunning InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort and Taylors Wines are teaming up to celebrate the Sanctuary Cove Winter Wine Festival. Running across two days from July 22nd the resort will host three events different events to bring guests across a wide range of exclusive experiences. These include the Taylors Wines luxury dinner, a high coffee session, and the complimentary “discovery library”.

First up, the Taylors Wines luxury dinner will take place in The Fireplace, the resort’s signature restaurant. Executive Sous Chef Jason Turner will create a three-course menu to be paired with seven glasses of Taylors Wines from the Clare Valley, offering dishes to showcase local produce like citrus cured salmon, beef wellington with Taylor Shiraz jus, and vanilla panna cotta with honeycomb, meringue and edible flowers. It’ll all be happening on July 22nd with tickets are priced at $149 per person.

Meanwhile, the resort will be offering a unique twist on the English High Tea with their High Coffee experience. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Taylor’s Brut Cuvee Sparking wine on arrival, following which they’ll be treated to traditional afternoon sandwiches, warm savouries, a palate cleansing sorbet, afternoon sweets and espresso-inspired delicacies. Coffee lovers can enjoy a variety of espressos, slow-brewed chemex and signature espresso martinis. The High Coffee event will run both days from midday, from $35 per person.

Taylors Wines Discovery Library will be complimentary for all guests, and will pop up on the newly refurbished Verandah Bar. Held over both days at midday, and hosted by wine expert Wendee De Ryke, it will include tastings of their more exclusive ranges: Taylors Jaraman and Taylor Made.
