Interactive performance art bar La Rosa Social Club is coming to Carriageworks (Sydney)

You’re going to want to hit up Semi Permanent this year. The design conference has partnered up with Carriageworks to bring La Rosa Social Club over to Sydney, after much success in L.A and Berlin. A concept given life by famed filmmaker Aaron Rose, the pop-up bar is designed to be pull together elements of an exhibition hall and performance space and mesh it with a bar, taking up residence in the Elston Room at Carriageworks for select nights between Wednesday 24th May to Thursday 1st June.

Described as a “gathering spot and showcase for a unique group of international creative thinkers”, La Rosa Social Club will feature a revolving series of works by various artists (see below for full list), sandwiched between a launch part by VICE Media and Creators and the beginning of June, one of the most festive months on Sydney’s calendar. From 5pm to 10:30pm each day, these artists will be bringing live performances and art exhibitions while guests can tuck into food provided by Sammy’s Burger Bar and a curated list of local wines, beers, sangria and negronis (whipped up by Bondi fav Corner House).

La Rose Social Club is free entry but RSVP is essential. You can grab more information about it HERE.
