Iceland Airwaves festival adds 40 artists to growing line-up

Ahead of the Iceland Airwaves festival taking place in November this year, a huge 40 acts have now been added to the line-up, including Warpaint, Minor Victories, Kate Tempest, Samaris, Torres and Singapore Sling.

They join previously announced artists including PJ Harvey, Julia Holter and múm with Kronos Quartet.

The 2016 instalment will be the festival’s 16th birthday, and will take place in Reykjavik in Iceland from November 2nd to 6th. The festival will be happening at various, intimate numbers throughout the city, where attendees can easily  move from venue to venue.

In addition the festival, PJ Harvey will be performing at the event’s closing party on the final night, where individual tickets will be issued to first come first serve at the door of the event. All festival attendees have to be at least 20 years of age, and further event and ticket details can be found at the Iceland Airwaves website.
