Huxtaburger introduce new menu items, starting with Skull Island Banana Prawns (Melbourne)

Starting from this Thursday, Huxtaburger will be introducing a total of four new snack items to dish up alongside their infinitely popular burgers, starting with some panko crumbed Skull Island Banana Prawns with homemade aioli and a fresh wedge of lemon, which will be introduced onto the menu this week (Thursday 24th March) just in time for the Easter break.

Grown in the Gulf of Carpentaria, located between Queensland and the Northern Territory, Skull Island Prawns are the world’s first certified sustainable tropical prawn and are also certified carbon neutral, adding a high quality ingredient to Huxtaburgers already comprehensive menu, and also showcasing some really great Aussie produce.

Co-founder and Food Director at Huxtaburger, Daniel Wilson, said they are excited to venture into new territory, adding further value to their range of premium burgers: “We wanted to offer more value to a broader range of customers and decided that expanding our offering was the perfect way to do it. We think it is important to keep adding delicious and interesting items to our menu. So with Easter coming up, and prawns on our radar, it was great timing.”
