Gelato Messina are hosting a two-day gelato, bao, and soda pop up this weekend (Sydney)

After the sell-out success of their first Messina Eats pop up in the car park near their Rosebery HQ, Gelato Messina have decided to quickly bring the series back, welcoming in more of their friends to stage another two day food bender that this time includes baos and hand-crafted soda. While the first one was full of burgers and lobster rolls, this weekend’s Messina Eats will bring in Melbourne’s popular Wonderbao and Sydney based P.S Soda.

Wonderbao will be bringing in a range of traditional baos, gua baos, and loaded potato gems with kimchi, spam, and melted cheese, while Messina will handle the dessert goodness with Chinese themed gelatos, plus deep-fried ice cream balls (filled with egg custard tart gelato) and served with mango pudding and passionfruit caramael. And P.S Soda are bringing their signature handmade, natural sodas in Blackstrap Ginger and Grapefruit & Honey flavours to help you wash it all down while you listen to the sweet sounds of local artist Mark Crotti.

You can find out more details on the Facebook event page HERE.
