Tokar Estate is giving away free wine with ready-made delivery meals

Yarra Valley’s Tokar Estate has, like many others, given a huge rethink to the way they do business both for their wine and food. That’s been focused into new offering Rita’s Pantry, which is European-styled food and wine delivery service available across the Yarra Valley and the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

This means home-made meals curated by Head Chef Maria Kabal, offering premium dining experiences prepared in-house at the winery and consumed by you in the safety of your home. All have been designed so that they are ready to plate within 20 minutes, with minimal preparation required.

Initially, the online platform features four complete meal options presented in vacuum-packed serving sizes for one, two or for a family. All include generous portions of proteins and flavour-rich sides that simply need to be placed sous-vide in water to heat or, in the case of pasta, boiled. The menu will rotate every two weeks with new offerings with prices from $55 (single serves) to $200 (family portions).

So far, dishes available include pressed lamb shoulder, pine mushroom tagliatelle, confit dug leg, and more. The team have also put together a “Pantry Essentials” available for $45, which includes goods from local suppliers like 2L St David Dairy full cream milk (or alternative plant-based milk), 200g premium beef mince sourced from Gippsland, and Tokar Estate sourdough bread.

To sweeten the deal, all packs come with free delivery, with the first 150 orders receiving a free bottle of Tokar Estate wine.

Orders will be taken online via the webstore at tokarestate.com.au, over the phone at 03 5964 9585 or via email [email protected].
