Sydney’s The Burger Collective are slinging freebies for National Cheeseburger Day

Since 2016, Sydney-based smartphone app The Burger Collective has collated and showcased the best burger joints in the city. And that’s no easy feat, given that Sydney has what is arguably one of the absolute greatest collection of burger restaurants in the world. Burger Head, BL Burgers, Happy Ending, Mister Gee, Superior Burger – need we go on?

To celebrate a swift refurb to the app, Burger Collective are doubling down on their goal to highlight Sydney’s best burgers by committing 350 freebies to new users. One in every five new downloads on the day will score a free cheeseburger, and all you need to do is download the free app on the National Cheeseburger Day, Friday 18th September.

Specific instruction as to what cheeseburger you’ve won and where to collect it will be fed through the app to the winners, who will find out instantly when they open the app.

Though even if you don’t win anything, you can still grab a good deal on day. Simply rock up to a premium restaurant partner (listed in the app) and you can grab any full-priced cheeseburger for a cool $5.

Additionally, any user who downloads the app and leaves a review of a burger during the week of National Cheeseburger Day (so Friday 18th to Friday 25th September) will be entered into the draw to win a year’s supply of burgers from one of the app’s premium partners, to the value of $850. Just make sure to leave your review on the app before 5pm Thursday 24th September, as winners are announced 9am Friday.

And those who don’t pick up the year’s worth of free burgers are still in the running of second – dinner at a Burger Collective partner for you and four mates to the value of $250 – and third – four cases of Jarritos Mexican Soda and a Truff Hot Sauce prize pack – prize.
