Salt Meats Cheese is now doing a plant-based Italian menu

Following the announcement of their new vegan restaurant Safiya, the team behind Salt Meats Cheese are introducing a plant-based banquet menu for their Italian restaurants in NSW and QLD. The ‘Soul Meets Cheers Vegan Series’ will take place across all venues (except Southbank) on Tuesday 8th September at 6pm.

A strictly vegan approach to classic SMC dishes will fill up the menu, which jumps from the likes of caramelised eggplant and sweet potato pizzetta with truffle oil, to crispy brussel sprouts. The menu, priced at $49pp, will also be paired with a complimentary glass of vegan wine or beer/cider from Young Henrys.

That’s not the extent of SMC’s newfound focus on soul-enriching clean-eating though. SMC venues in Surfers Paradise, Circular Quay and Newstead will be hosting a vegan cooking class across the first weekend of October for $89pp.

Tickets and more information can be found here.
