Melbourne favourites Mamasita and sibling restaurant Hotel Jesus have teamed up to curate a special “staff favourites” menu now being offered for pick up and delivery. The collaboration includes a generous selection of Mexican ‘slow food’ dishes that have been carefully packed and proportioned so diners can share at home. This sits alongside signature margaritas, craft beers and wine.
Specific items off the menu include beef barbacoa with spicy chicken skin or fried prawn tacos; Mamasita’s signature chargrilled corn with cotija and chipotle mayo; ensenada fried fish burritos; Hotel Jesus’ famous lamb ribs with pistachio and salsa macha; and Mamasita’s Mexican roast chicken.
To assist with the menu launch, both venues are not doing $2 “Taco Tuesdays” for a limited time, with 50 serves available each week until sold out.
In addition signature items, the collaborative menu will highlight a weekly “Staff Meal” which can be enjoyed straight away or reheated for late. Each staff meal will celebrate International Temporary Visa Holders from the team and is inspired by a dish from their childhood.
