Grill’d is offering free Mighty Melbourne burgers to Victorians this week

Right up until 11:59pm on Thursday 16th July, ubiquitous burger chain Grill’d is offering freebies to Victorians facing a return to lockdown.

It’s tough to be in Victoria right now. With cases of COVID-19 quickly rising in Melbourne, and the always ever-threat of it spreading significantly outside of the city, those in Australia’s second largest city have now been put back into a six-week lockdown.

That also means a return from dining out to ordering in, with restaurants now closing their venues and putting the focus back on delivery options.

Unsurprisingly, Grill’d has been a go-to for at-home meals during iso, so as a way of saying thanks the chain is putting up one of their signature burgers for free. By free, we mean you’ll have to order a burger in the first place, but when you do you can simply add the densely stacked burger to your delivery order for $0.

For the uninitiated, the Mighty Melbourne is a sizable beast of grass-fed beef with crispy bacon, free-range egg, tasty cheese, beetroot, cos lettuce, tomato, Spanish onion, relish and herbed mayo.

It’s available state-wide too, but you should check if your nearest Grill’d is a participating store first.

Note that you’ll need to sign up to be a Grill’d Relish member to redeem the offer, and it’s not valid with an order of any wagyu burger. You’ll need to order directly from Grill’d too, so don’t go jumping on any third-party if you want to take part in this.

All information, as well as instructions to redeem, can be found at grilld.com.au
