Dove & Olive clash culture and craft beer with Opera in the Pub (Sydney)

Ever wished your favourite local pub functioned like the Sydney Opera House? Awarded Surry Hills pub Dove & Olive want you to pour a little culture into that craft beer later on this month when they host Opera in the Pub. Set for Sunday 26th June from 4:30pm, the themed day will bring a worldly opera into the pub with a special engaging and informative dash through the history of opera, featuring both old and new favourites from Spain to Egypt.

It’s all part of Opera Bites’ dedication in bringing opera to unexpected places, and few spots around Sydney are as unconventional for a night at the opera than the pub.

Those heading along are promised a fully costumed, operatic spectacle to sit back and enjoy while the cold craft beer is flowing and the Sunday Lamb Roast is served hot. The ticket price, set at $69, includes a Coopers Pale Ale or house wine on arrival plus the roast with all the trimmings. A vegetarian option is also available.

Tickets can be purchased online HERE and more information is available HERE.
