Delta and Virgin Australia are partnering with the 6th AACTA Awards; launch massive competition

The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) has announced a brand new partnership with Virgin Australia and Delta Air Lines, with the strategic alliance partners now sitting as the Exclusive Airline Partners of the 6th Annual Awards in Sydney as well as the AACTA International Awards in Los Angeles.

The partnership will see Delta and Virgin fly International and Local stars in Sydney for the event, as well as the 2017 events around the world. They are also giving viewers the chance to win a trip to the 6th Annual AACTA International Awards in Los Angeles.

Viewers will enter by saying what they thought was the most glamorous moment from the 6th AACTA Awards in Sydney. The winner will take home a trip for two to the AACTA International Awards in LA, including return flights from Sydney and four nights’ accommodation in LA.

To go into the draw to win the Ultimate AACTA International Awards experience, visit aacta.org following the broadcast on Channel 7 from 8.30pm on Wednesday 7 December. Entries close Monday 12 December 2016.

Virgin Australia and Delta Air Lines operate flights from Los Angeles to Sydney, Brisbane and, from April 2017, Melbourne using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. They are only trans-Pacific alliance that offers lie flat beds with direct aisle access in Business Class on all services between Australia and the United States.

The 6th AACTA Awards presented by Foxtel will be held at The Star Event Centre in Sydney on Wednesday 7 December 2016, televised on Channel 7 with an encore screening on Foxtel. Tickets to the Ceremony are on sale now from $99 and available from aacta.org.

The 6th AACTA International Awards will be held at The Avalon in Hollywood on Friday 6 January 2017.
