David Thompson has made Long Chim’s top quality Sriracha Sauce available for retail

Aaharn Sriracha Sauce is, according to renowned Long Chim chef David Thompson, arguably the world’s best tasting sriracha sauce to exist. And who are we to argue? Thompson uses to sauce in his restaurants worldwide, and with the kind of acclaim that regularly surrounds the chef and pretty much everything he does, it’s safe to say that his endorsement of this product is a kind of gold standard.

With the huge demand for Sriracha, Thompson has had the good sense to finally make this hot sauce available for public purchase, retailing exclusively at all three Long Chim restaurants in Australia (Perth, Sydney and Melbourne). As of earlier this month, Aaharn Sriracha Sauce is now being imported to Long Chim from Thai food specialists Aylmer Aaharn, bringing Aussies a sauce that has been made with fresh ingredients sourced from the local market in Sriracha, a small district south of Bangkok where the sauce is made, to build it’s distinctive depth of flavour and balance. The product is one of the few Sriracha sauces actually made in Sriracha.

“I was in a local restaurant and I remember exactly what I was eating – some fish dumplings and grilled squid – as the accompanying sauce was simply outstanding”, said Thompson, recalling his first encounter with this specific recipe of Sriracha more than two decades ago while researching for a booking. The chef reportedly went straight to the market after the meal and bought and entire case.

“Sriracha sauce is great with seafood of all kinds from a plate of oysters to grilled squid or perhaps a deep-fried fish,” he continued. “Many Thais like it with grilled meat. I love it with prawns deep-fried with garlic and pepper”.

Aaharn Sriracha Sauce is now available for purchase exclusively at Long Chim Crown
Melbourne, Long Chim Sydney and Long Chim Perth with an RRP of $7.95.
