Chiswick at the Gallery teams with Archie Rose Distilling Co for exclusive Gin pairing menu (Sydney)

Chiswick at the Gallery and Archie Rose Distilling Co. will be teaming up for a one-day-only event later this month, inviting food and craft spirit enthusiasts to an exclusive ‘ginstronomy’ experience on Tuesday 21st June. The special dinner event, which will also highlight a new unique distilled Gin made especially for the restaurant, will be pairing up fresh seasonal produce, many picked from the onsite garden, with the flavours of four specially made cocktails showcasing different botanicals.

Chiswick at the Gallery’s Head Chef Laura Baratto has carefully designed a bespoke menu to focus in on these botanical flavours, using the Gin-based cocktails as a base on which to build dishes that exhibit the same taste and flavour properties, aimed at delivering guests with a rich and unique pairing experience.

“We were ecstatic to have the chance to work with Archie Rose, not just for the mere fact that we want to support ‘local’ producers but we were also given an opportunity to collaborate in the process of developing our own gin that will be exclusive to CHISWICK at the Gallery” said Matt Dunne, Group Sommelier of Solotel.

The event will kick off at 6:30pm and tickets are priced at $150pp, which include all four courses with exclusive Chiswick x Archie Rose distilled Gin cocktails. Menu highlights include an entrée of Coriander Seed and Dorrigo Pepper Cured Kingfish with pickled rhubarb and tempura salt bush, paired with a unique take on a classic G&T (Chiswick AR gin, cinnamon, sultanas, dehydrated orange, Fever Tree tonic), and the main of Beef Fillet with braised fennel, seeded mustard liquorice root jus, paired with a Barrel Aged Bianco Negroi. Dessert will be a Pine Nut Honey Tart with lemon myrtle gel, matched to a Gin & Jam (Chiswick AR gin, Aperol, lemon, rose-vanilla jam, cranberry bitters, flowers).
