Cargo Bar and Bungalow 8 set to close for major renovations; plan big farewell parties (Sydney)

After close to two decades of dominance in Sydney’s nightlife scene, Cargo Bar and Bungalow 8 are set to finish their current run, close, and reopen later this year with major makeovers. They won’t be shuffling out of their current cycle in any small fashion either, with both venues set to host massive closing parties this Saturday 12th August.

Both parties will be kicking off from 5pm this Saturday, calling on Sydney’s best DJ’s to keep the vibe going until the early hours of the morning. They’re keeping details kind of secretive though so you’ll have to pay attention to their social media channels for all the updates.

We do know that Bungalow 8 will reopen this spring with a “palm beach villa meets city chic” kind of aesthetic, taking on a sunnier disposition to complement its stunning Sydney Harbour views.
