Beer DeLuxe brings their 150-strong beer menu to King Street Wharf (Sydney)

A beer venue founded by beer lovers for beer lovers – what’s not to love! With several locations already in operation, major beer haunt Beer DeLuxe is now open at King Street Wharf. They have settled in the old La Cita venue, and have completely renovated it into a multi-story waterfront bar, housing what’s become known as The Beer Bible, a 150-strong beer menu that changes weekly, making it one of the largest beer offerings in Sydney.

A team of beer aficionados are at hand to offer their knowledge, ready to discuss the difference between a Trappist brew and a sour based beer, or introduce you to new brews such as Indian Pale Ales, Scotch Ales, Porters, Stouts, American Strong Ales, Lagers, Weizenbock and Belgian Style beers.

You can also enjoy your brews paired with food such pork belly with lime caramel, lamb neck nachos, southern style chicken ribs and the best burgers in town, all created by esteemed Melbourne Chef Jake Furst.

Owned and operated by the Armada Hospitality Group, Beer DeLuxe is known for its laid-back approach to dining and drinking, specialising in establishing beer trends and introducing new and exclusive brews (both international and emerging local brews) to the Australian beer market, as well as organising exclusive events such as Craft Beer Festival, Good Beer Week.

Beer DeLuxe have already garnered a number of industry awards, such as the Australian Hospitality Association award for Best Beer Presentation.

“Our patrons love great beer. They’re the type of person that looks for something that is unique and cannot be purchased just anywhere. Sydney already has such a strong and innovative beer industry, our aim to complement the existing industry and provide patrons with something surprisingly different every time they visit,” said Craig Shearer, Founder of Armada Hospitality Group.

“We’re passionate about great beer. We’re thrilled to be bringing some of the world’s finest to the people of Sydney within a world-class venue that complements the amazing harbour backdrop.”
