A big Tasmanian food and wine festival is coming to Sydney and Melbourne this August

A huge showcase of Tasmania’s famed produce will once again hop on over to the mainland when Vin Diemen returns later this year. The traveling food and wine festival will bring a very comprehensive platform for Tasmania’s finest producers to both Sydney and Melbourne, celebrating the event’s third year with an extended lineup.

Some of the event’s most popular wine producers like Bay of Fires and Domaine A will be joined by newcomers like Sharman’s Wines to head up a great display of sparklings, chardonnay and pinot noir, a generous set-up that will be complemented with a range of cider and spirits from the likes of Abel Gin Co., Strait vodka and gin, and Willie Smith.

That should keep the thirsty more than satisfied while the food spreads are taken care of by everyone from the excellent Bruny Island Cheese Co., and Shima Wasabi to Meander Valley and Rober Farm Goat Dairy.

The full lineup of producers is still being kept under wraps and will be announced in the coming weeks but for those who want to get in early tickets go on sale from 13th June and are set at $50 (early bird), $60 (G.A), and $100 (VIP, includes a Plumm wine glass to take home and wine samples).
